Providence Medical Group, Northern California (PMGNC) is seeking a highly skilled, experienced and dedicated Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our esteemed cardiac team at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional surgical expertise, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a collaborative spirit to lead a multidisciplinary team across the Northern California region in partnership with sister programs at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka and Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa.
This combined clinical and administrative position has broad leadership responsibilities overseeing patient care, quality, and outcomes within the cardiac surgery section and will report to the Chief Medical Officer and President of PMGNC. The Medical Director will be strongly aligned with other medical group leaders and our hospital partners as we develop a strategic plan that supports the long-term success of the service line and optimizes access to cardiac care for each local community.
Medical directors are generally expected to engage in active clinical practice within their specialty 4 days per week to ensure the highest possible quality of care is provided to all patients in accordance with the medical groups bylaws, standards, and policies.

The Value of Working with Us
The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital / ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, a CME allowance and other benefits offered by the medical group. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
