Job Title : Logistics Coordinator

Location : Onsite in San Francisco or Oakland, CA

Contract Dates : 10 / 27 / 2025 – 4 / 30 / 2026

Reporting To : Project Manager

Hourly Rate : $41 hr

Role Overview :

We are seeking a Facilities and Logistics Associate to support our innovation and engineering teams. This role ensures that shop operations, shipping / receiving, and workspace logistics run smoothly so that engineers and designers can focus on building and developing prototypes.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage shipping and receiving, including signing for deliveries and ensuring packages reach the correct recipients.
  • Maintain organization in the shop and entryway, keeping the workspace clean, safe, and professional.
  • Organize tools, parts, and materials for efficient and safe storage.
  • Coordinate shipment of materials between multiple office locations.
  • Assist with facilities-related tasks such as furniture assembly, disposal of batteries and hazardous materials, and scheduling vendor support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with facilities management to resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Support the engineering team with miscellaneous operational projects and tasks that enhance workspace efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Comfortable working in a shop environment and maintaining cleanliness and order.
  • Strong communicator, able to coordinate across teams and vendors.
  • Resourceful with a hands-on approach to solving operational challenges.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and functional workspace.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in shipping / receiving or facilities operations.
  • Familiarity with safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials (batteries, solvents, etc.).
  • Ability to perform light assembly and general shop support tasks.
  • Experience coordinating with facilities or operations teams.
  • Valid US driver’s license with the ability to travel between San Francisco and other Bay Area locations.
