The Video Production Specialist is responsible for leading the planning, production, and delivery of video content to support Purdue Federal Credit Union's brand, member education, marketing campaigns, and internal communication initiatives. This position manages the video production process from concept through final edit, ensuring all content is accurate, professional, and consistent with brand standards.

  • Employees are expected to adhere to all rules and regulations applicable to this position including, but not limited to all policies and procedures pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) :

  • Shoot and edit video on a variety of financial education topics, member tutorials, interviews, events, internal communication, and other video content.
  • Write scripts and plan storyboards for video content.
  • Lead and coordinate video shoots with staff and actors.
  • Assist in ideation of creative video.
  • Help uphold a consistent brand image in all videos.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Required Skills

    Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements :

  • Education and Credentials

    • o Bachelor's Degree in Video Production, Marketing, Communication, Advertising or related field.

  • Experience

    • o 3-5 Years experience with video production for marketing purposes.

    o Financial industry experience a plus, but not required

  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

    • o Experience in using video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Rush, or Adobe After Effects

    o Knowledge in camera work (DSLR and smart phone) and audio recording

    o Knowledge in motion graphics and graphic design principles

    o Strong verbal and written communication skills

    o Detail oriented

    o Organized

    o Ability to meet deadlines

    o Ability to work independently

    o Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors and company contacts

    o Ability to follow the core values of honesty, integrity, mutual respect, pride and ownership
