HVAC Service Technician and Building Maintenance

Applicants should be graduates of accredited HVAC school and possess five years of field experience. We are a private pre-K through grad 12 School, with two locations. We are looking for a candidate to join our facilities team. When not maintaining our HVAC systems the candidate will join the facilities team in maintaining the school’s properties.

Job Type : Full-time

Ideal candidate must be able to troubleshoot and

1. Package unit a / c heat pump (Duct with VAV control boxes), cooling tower

2. HVAC units are controlled by the VFD

3. Split system Air conditioner

4. Duct free ceiling mount Air conditioner

5. Duct free floor mount Air conditioner

6. Gas fire hot water boiler

7. Electric coil hot water heater

8. PTAC systems

9. Light commercial rooftop systems.

10. Charging, Recovering, Evacuating.

11. Adept at reading wiring diagrams and schematics.

In addition the ideal candidate will have :

1. General knowledge of various types of equipment used in building maintenance.

2. Ability to work with little or no supervision, given proper instructions.

3. Perform room set-ups and breakdowns as assigned.

4. Ability to perform minor repairs on restroom fixtures, lighting fixtures, and see to general maintenance of systems.

5. Maintains tools and equipment in good condition and uses all tools carefully and as instructed.

Required experience :

HVAC : 5 years

Required licenses or certifications :

EPA 608 Universal Certification

Clean Driver's License
