About The Position

Experience : Minimum 2 years in Critical Care

License : RRT SC license required

Certifications : NBRC RRT certification, BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

• RRT Adult critical care experience

Description :

This position is for an Adult CRT.

The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 : 30 PM.

Holidays and every other weekend are required.

The clinician may float within their scope to meet facility needs.

Only possible floating would be to a similar adult population setting.

A minimum of 2 years of critical care experience is required.

First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.

Candidates must have a current NBRC RRT certification along with BLS and ACLS certifications.

South Carolina respiratory care provider license must be in hand by the start date.

Approval for block scheduling may be accommodated but is not guaranteed.

All requests for time off must be included prior to submission.

The facility may call off one shift per every two weeks.

The facility is a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds.

It has various patient populations including two ICUs and an emergency department.

Travelers should be aware that emergency response assignments may occur during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.

Travelers need to ensure availability continues throughout this period.

Candidates with a pending South Carolina license will still be considered if proof of application is provided.

However, a license must be active and issued before starting work at the facility.
