Sr. Analyst / Associate, Compensation and Analytics

This is an exciting opportunity to help build the Compensation function at a high-growth pre-IPO startup as part of Verkada's growing Compensation team. As an early team member, you will play a critical role in cross-functional partnerships across all business units at Verkada. You will be asked to project manage large programs like the compensation cycle, survey submissions, compensation tools, and benchmarking.

In this role, you will :

• Partner with leaders across the company Work closely with teams, including Finance, People Operations, and Sales, to design and execute compensation strategies that support business goals.
• Own and enhance compensation models Build and maintain detailed models to support compensation planning, forecasting, and budgeting. Provide insights to leadership on pay competitiveness, market trends, and equity refresh strategies.
• Develop and monitor compensation dashboards Create tools to track total rewards metrics, analyze pay equity, and surface insights to leaders.
• Support compensation cycles Assist in executing merit, bonus, and equity refresh cycles, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company philosophy.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking Analyze data from compensation surveys and industry sources to inform pay decisions and maintain competitive positioning.
• Drive ad hoc analyses and business cases Deliver insights on compensation strategies and new initiatives that support hiring, retention, and equity practices.

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
