QC LAB TECH

Location : Livingston, CA.

Job Summary :

As a QC Lab Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our client's natural and organic ingredients. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive product testing and analysis, maintaining rigorous quality control procedures, and documenting your findings to support the company's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine and specialized testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality standards
  • Operate and maintain various laboratory equipment and instruments to conduct a wide range of tests, including chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses
  • Analyze test data, interpret results, and document findings in detailed reports
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control protocols and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all testing activities and quality control measures

Qualifications :

  • Strong background in quality assurance and quality control, with a focus on food or ingredient manufacturing
  • Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment and instrumentation for product testing and analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant technical or vocational training preferred

    • Working Conditions :

    This position is based at our client's headquarters in a light industrial manufacturing environment. The role may involve occasional standing, lifting, and moving of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

    Compensation and Benefits :

    The target pay rate for this position is $22 USD per hour. Our client also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
