Health Information Imaging Technician

Description

A Health Information Management Records Specialist performs various tasks and functions related to medical record documentation including oversight of the online Legal Medical Record. These functions include document-imaging processes, analysis of records, transcription support, release of information, and birth-certificate processing.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training : additional vocational training and / or college-level coursework.
• 1 year previous customer-service experience
• Experience with document-imaging systems.
• 1 year previous Experience in HIM / Medical Records
• Experience with word-processing and spreadsheet programs
