Description
Essential Duties And Responsibilities include the following : (Other duties may be assigned.)
Client Support & Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, sales, project managers, and operations throughout the relocation process.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Provide status updates, resolve issues, and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
- Maintain positive relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.
Project Coordination
Assist in scheduling move dates, crews, and equipment for commercial relocations.Confirm service orders, scope of work, and special requirements with clients and operations.Track progress of ongoing moves to ensure timelines, quality standards, and budget expectations are met.Coordinate with warehouse staff for storage needs, labeling, and delivery.Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and review service orders, contracts, billing documents, and insurance certificates.Accurately enter job details, updates, and changes into company systems.Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA, insurance).Issue Resolution
Investigate service complaints or claims; gather facts and coordinate resolutions with management.Assist in processing damage claims, documenting outcomes, and communicating results to the client.Team Collaboration
Work closely with sales consultants, project managers, dispatch, and field crews to align service delivery.Participate in project kick-off meetings and post-move debriefs.Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on processes and client experience.Qualifications & Experience
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.Prior experience in moving & storage, logistics, or commercial relocation strongly preferred.Customer service experience in a fast-paced, project-based environment required.Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with moving / relocation software a plus.Problem-solving mindset with ability to remain calm under pressure.Supervisory Responsibilities
