Join Our Team as a Child and Adolescent Therapist!

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? At New Directions Mental Health , part of the Transformations Care Network, we are on a mission to provide culturally sensitive and individualized outpatient therapy. As a Child and Adolescent Therapist, you will play a vital role in fostering resilience and healing within our communities.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will :

  • Conduct culturally sensitive assessments for new clients and families, creating a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide tailored outpatient therapy that meets the unique needs of each client, guiding them on their path to healing.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis and wellness plans to empower clients in their mental health journey.
  • Participate in case consultations and agency meetings, contributing your expertise to enhance client care.
  • Ensure timely completion of documentation and billing, upholding the highest standards of professional responsibility.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic mental health care.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have :

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and families.
  • A provisional license, if required by state regulations.
  • A passion for mental health and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • A dedication to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete documentation and administrative tasks.
