Athletes Unlimited is looking for a highly creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to bring our brand to life across apparel, accessories, and digital platforms. This role will design on-trend graphics for t-shirts, headwear, and sideline apparel, while also producing high-impact digital content for our e-commerce, social, and marketing channels. The Graphic Designer will report to the Sr. Director, E-comm & Retail Ops.
Responsibilities
- Apparel & Accessories Design
Create original graphic designs for seasonal and evergreen collections across softball, volleyball, and basketball
Develop athlete illustrations and translate them into compelling apparel designs that connect with fans and athletesCollaborate closely with the merchandise and equipment teams to conceptualize and design sideline apparel that aligns with brand identity and team needsDesign for internal initiatives including influencer kits, VIP gifting, and special projects to elevate brand presence and storytellingUphold the highest standards of quality, ensuring all designs meet brand guidelines, manufacturing specifications, and production timelinesE-Commerce, Social, & Marketing ContentDesign digital assets for e-commerce, social media, and marketing campaigns - including banners, product mockups, landing pages, and promotional graphics
Create engaging visuals for social posts, email newsletters, and paid media, ensuring campaigns register with and inspire the fanbasePartner with the merchandise team to bring product stories to life through compelling online contentBrand Stewardship & CollaborationMaintain visual consistency across apparel, digital, and marketing executions
Keep abreast of sports, fashion, and lifestyle trends, as well as competitor activity, to inspire fresh, innovative design direction that connects authentically with fans and athletesQualifications
4-6 years of experience in graphic design, ideally within apparel, fashion, lifestyle, or retailStrong portfolio demonstrating apparel graphics, digital content creation, and product applicationsExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously and approvals through Asana or similar project management toolProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Shopify or e-comm experienceSolid understanding of screen printing, embroidery, and production processesStrong trend awareness in sports, culture, and lifestyleAbility to translate data into designs that connect with athletes and fansExcellent time management, communication, and attention to detailWillingness to travel to league locations, approximately once or twice per seasonLegal authorization to work in the United StatesBenefits
This role is full-time, remote and is compensated at a range of $62,000-72,000 annually. While this is the intended range, the actual compensation may vary based on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, and geographic location of the position.
