General Purpose : Ross Stores Distribution Centers supply over 2,000 Ross Dress For Less and dd's Discounts Stores with the products that make Ross the largest off-price retailer in the nation. Our Maintenance Technicians are instrumental in keeping these 7 high-volume, automated, fast-paced distribution centers operating effectively. They are tasked with assessing equipment / machinery issues in the facilities and make necessary repairs and perform preventive maintenance actions as scheduled. As our network expands with the addition of 2 more distribution centers over the next 5 years, Ross offers talented experienced maintenance mechanics and technicians the opportunity to enhance their skills and experience, while receiving competitive compensation and excellent benefits.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required :

Physical Requirements / ADA : Job requires ability to work in a warehouse environment, on a concrete floor all day. Requires continuous, standing, walking, hearing, pushing, and pulling. Consistent timeliness and regular attendance is necessary. Frequently reaching, bending, stooping, talking, hearing (audio equipment), handling objects with hands and lifting to 50 lbs Vision requirements : Ability to see information in print and / or electronically This role requires full-time in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and / or feedback.
