The restaurant will be housed in a beautifully restored 100-year-old historic building, honoring its legacy while bringing new life to the community with world-class cuisine and hospitality. This new venture comes from the team behind our award-winning Nashville restaurant, known for its elevated Southern flavors, exceptional service, and commitment to culinary innovation. As Chef de Cuisine, you will collaborate in menu development, kitchen management, and team leadership. You’ll create innovative menus that highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients while ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage food and labor costs, and a deep knowledge of restaurant operations, culinary techniques, and food safety standards. Key responsibilities include : Leading and mentoring sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen staff. Designing and executing menus aligned with the restaurant’s culinary vision. Managing food cost control, vendor relationships, and kitchen inventory. Upholding strict sanitation, HACCP, and food safety compliance. Partnering with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service. Qualifications : Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, or Head Chef (3-5 years). Expertise in upscale southern cuisine with classic French techniques Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of menu engineering, culinary trends, and kitchen operations. Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent).
