About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Progressive Care Unit or telemetry required.

License : Compact or state license required at the time of submission.

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.

Must-Have :

Must be comfortable taking care of 5 patients.

Must have strong IV and phlebotomy skills.

Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.

Description :

No time off will be granted from November 15 to January 2.

Candidates will be assigned 3 of the 6 winter holidays.

Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed.

The primary position is located on the main campus.

Daily patient diagnoses may include liver failure, sepsis, acute respiratory failure, COPD, diabetes, and DKA.

Candidates must have experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Charting experience is preferred.

Candidates must pass compliance exams for BLS, ACLS, EKG onboarding, NIHSS, and Progressive Care skills.

Candidates should ensure rehire eligibility has been verified prior to submission.

Floating requirements may vary.

Weekend shifts will be required as part of the schedule.
