Job Title : Substance Abuse Counselor
Location : New Journey Inc., Annapolis, Maryland
Certifications Required : ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD
New Journey is an Opioid Treatment Program seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addictions Counselor to join our team. Our clinic is committed to providing high-quality care and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a critical role in helping our patients achieve long-term recovery and wellness.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
