Overview
We have a great Senior HPC Storage Engineer role with a top global trading firm based here in Chicago (onsite role). In this role, you’d play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the firm’s high-performance infrastructure that fuels cutting-edge quantitative research and trading.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and optimization of Lustre-based storage systems, tackling I / O bottlenecks at scale while automating solutions with Python or Bash to streamline performance and reliability.
- This is a hands-on opportunity to build and tune storage systems that power data-intensive strategies in one of the most competitive industries.
- Support a high-performance Linux I / O stack and contribute to storage infrastructure that enables trading and research workloads.
