Accounts Receivable Associate

Accurately input facility-related payables into the accounting system.

Prepare and submit Medicaid, private payer, and patient claims in compliance with payer guidelines and organizational policies.

Assist in generating monthly billing and accounts receivable reports.

Maintain detailed and accurate analysis reports for Medicaid and private payer accounts.

Prepare remittance documents from Medicaid, private payers, and patients for data entry.

Notify management of any missing or delayed documentation required for billing.

Monitor outstanding accounts, resubmit claims as needed, and escalate significantly overdue accounts to management.

Foster positive working relationships with patients, payers, and facility staff.

Provide timely reports and relevant information to accounting management personnel.

Proficiency in accounting.

Proficient in Excel and Word.

Familiarity with Medicaid and private payer billing processes.

2+ years of billing / AR experience within a healthcare company.

Hospice billing experience would be a plus.

Understanding of the full revenue work cycle.

Knowledge of how to post a remit and work denials and eligibility.

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $30.00 / hr.
