  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state\n
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, or acute care nursing\n
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required\n
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred\n
  • Strong clinical assessment, cardiac monitoring, and critical thinking skills\n
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities\n

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac events, heart failure, or cardiac surgeries\n
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition\n
  • Administer medications, cardiac drips, and treatments as prescribed\n
  • Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care\n
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac care, recovery, and discharge planning\n
  • Accurately document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR)\n
