Job title : Polysomnographer

Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Polysomngorapher to join our sleep lab team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot sleep study equipment prior to patient arrival.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic polsomnographic procedures inclunding overnight sleep studies, CPAP / BiPAP titrations, split-night studies, and MSLT testing.
- Apply electodes and sensors according to AASM standards.
- Monitor patients during testing, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality data collection.
- Recognize and respond to sleep related events (apnea, desaturations, arrhythmias, seizures, etc.).
- Document all pertinent patient observations, technical events, and interventions during the study.
- Score and analyze sleep studies according to AASM scoring guidelines.
- Provide patient education and equipment orientation when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sleep lab environment.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers regarding test results and patient care.
Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited polysomnography, respiratory therapy, or related program.RPSGT credential (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) preferred; CRT / RRT with sleep experience may be considered.Current BLS certification required.Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently during overnight studies.Schedule :
Primarily overnight shifts with occasional day testing (MLST)Full-time opportunity.About us :
