CDL Transfer Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Transfer Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering auto parts to warehouse and shipping centers in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. They will also assist in properly sorting, staging pallets, loading and unloading the truck to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of the parts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Tractor Trailer to transport auto parts to warehouse and shipping centers; monitored via in-cab cameras.
• Assist in properly loading / unloading truck.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Verify that the load is properly secured and balanced before transportation.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of the truck.
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck.
• Sit, stand, walk, and / or lift for long periods of time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned as business needs change.
