Sheet Metal Technician

Join our team as a Certified Hood (Sheet Metal) Technician, where you will be responsible for installing commercial kitchen hoods, exhaust systems, and duct work in accordance with building codes. You will work as part of an installation crew, handling tasks such as running duct work, MIG welding, setting fasteners, and hanging hoods.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial kitchen hoods and exhaust systems following building codes.
• Run duct work, perform MIG welding, and set fasteners.
• Work collaboratively with an installation crew.
• Utilize layout design skills for efficient installation.
• Troubleshoot installation issues in a timely manner.

Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment, traveling to various restaurant locations throughout the Greater Boston area. You will report to the shop from Monday to Friday and operate from a company-provided service van. This position requires adaptability and the ability to work efficiently under diverse conditions.

This is a full-time position based out of Wakefield, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00 / hr.
