Job Summary :
The Multimodality Technologist, under the supervision of a Radiologist, performs diagnostic imaging across two or more disciplines. At least 25% of their work focuses on advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, or Interventional Radiology. They work with both ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by physicians or licensed providers, following established protocols to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities as requested
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for imaging techniques
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to provide high-quality imaging for diagnosis
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and patient information
Required Requirements :
Education : Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology programExperience : Less than 1 year of experienceLicensing & Certification :ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification
ARRT-R (Radiography) certificationLicensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the TexasBasic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer)Additional Certifications :ARMRIT (MRI Tech)
