Entry Level Civil Engineer (Boca Raton)

Must be based in South Florida

Up to $80,000 based on experience

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Civil and / or Geotechnical Engineering

At least 2 years of work experience in engineering consulting or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)

Experience with Microsoft Excel and P6

Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities

Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment

Excellent communication skills

Ability to perform field work and overnight travel assignments

Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing

Valid U.S. drivers license and satisfactory driving record for business travel

Additional Considerations :

Master's Degree in Civil and / or Geotechnical Engineering

Engineer Intern (EI) certification

Professional Engineer (PE) license

Experience with geotechnical and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Slope / W, and PLAXIS

Experience with solid waste management facility design and permitting

Familiarity with dam and levee inspections

Knowledge of stormwater treatment, conveyance, and detention / retention design

Design, permitting, and construction of civil infrastructure

Building foundations, solid waste containment systems, reservoirs, dams, levees, and other water containment and control structures

Geotechnical subsurface investigations and geo-instrumentation installation and monitoring

Slope stability analysis and stormwater design

Construction quality assurance

Preparing technical specifications, construction drawings, and detailed engineering reports

Contributing to proposals for professional engineering and construction services
