A prominent Chicago firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3–6 years of experience. Work on complex disputes, gain courtroom exposure in Illinois federal and state courts, and collaborate with powerhouse clients in a dynamic, trial-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex commercial disputes, including contract, business tort, and trade secret litigation.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses with precision and efficiency.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Appear in state and federal courts, supporting and preparing for trials.
  • Work directly with clients to craft case strategies and provide legal counseling.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of commercial litigation experience.
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
  • Strong experience with motion practice in Illinois federal and state courts.
  • Familiarity with Illinois procedural law and Cook County courts.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle subpoenas and manage large-scale discovery.

  • Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative litigation team.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

    • Compensation

    Base pay range : $190,000.00 / yr - $265,000.00 / yr
