  • Facility Setting : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)\n
  • Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse\n
  • Assignment Start Date : October 20, 2025\n
  • Assignment End Date : January 17, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 10-hour day shifts (06 : 30 – 17 : 00)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,280 - $2,450\n
  • On-call Requirement : One weekday per week, one weekend (Friday-Sunday) every 4 weeks\n
  • Weekend Requirement : No regular weekends\n

    • \n\nCVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (CO single state or Nursys RN Compact License)\n
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred\n
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR RN experience\n
  • At least 1 year of travel nursing experience in the United States\n
  • Ability to circulate in the general operating room (OR)\n
  • Willingness to float to other Centura Health locations within 60 miles as needed\n

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team and patients / families to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs\n
  • Promote optimal health, well-being, and patient safety through the nursing process and adherence to clinical standards\n
  • Assess and evaluate patient responses, intervening to ensure the best outcomes\n
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team\n
  • Demonstrate proficiency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection\n
  • Provide patient and family education, assess learning readiness, and evaluate educational effectiveness\n
  • Deliver compassionate, culturally competent care tailored to patient preferences\n
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to non-RN personnel\n
  • Serve as a professional role model, mentor new staff, and pursue ongoing professional development\n
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nursing research initiatives\n
