• Rapid Response position with start date of 10-28
• Certification is mandatory
• Work in CV PreOp unit (The Heart Tower, Building E)
• Monday through Friday schedule from 5 : 00 AM to 1 : 30 PM
• Patient ratio of 1 : 1
• Stay late 1-2 times per week as needed
• Required certification : BLS
• Must have critical care experience (PreOp experience a plus)
• Perform large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, and skin assessment
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
• Transport patients to OR and assist with induction / intubation, positioning, and skin prep
• Work with GE Carescape Monitoring equipment
• Use Cerner documentation system
• Must demonstrate excellent documentation skills and BCMA proficiency
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-acuity patient environment
• Excellent communication skills with interdepartmental team required
• Strong critical thinking skills essential
• Float within scope of practice and experience
