We are looking for an experienced Inventory Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring seamless reconciliation processes. Based in Kent, Washington, this position offers the flexibility to work remotely while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities :
- Utilize the Business Central Inventory Module to ensure accurate inventory tracking and adjustments.
- Review and reconcile inventory discrepancies, including addressing negative inventory balances.
- Perform quantity adjustments and maintain inventory records across multiple physical locations.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to generate and analyze inventory reports.
- Work towards closing inventory periods to prevent backdated entries and ensure proper system functionality.
- Assist with physical inventory counts across three separate locations and make necessary adjustments.
- Identify and resolve issues where inventory postings occur without quantities, ensuring system integrity.
- Support the development and implementation of inventory reconciliation strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inventory processes and adjustments for audit purposes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Proven experience in inventory analysis and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Ability to analyze and interpret inventory reports from third-party sources.
- Experience with physical inventory counting and adjustments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address inventory discrepancies and system errors.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors.
