Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 3×12 Nights

Pay : $2,248.20 / week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Houston, TX. The L&D RN will provide expert and compassionate care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond promptly to any complications.
• Administer prescribed medications, including pain management interventions.
• Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries, maintaining a sterile and safe environment.
• Support and educate patients and families regarding the birthing process, recovery, and newborn care.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility policies.
