WLF is seeking a small engine mechanic to support one of the leading construction and transportation companies in the northeast. This person will work on equipment including (but not limited to) sanders and plows, chainsaws and demo saws, suitcase and tow-behind generators, dewatering pumps, water buffalos, ground-thaw heaters, power washers, air compressors and tools, Bobcat dingoes, Side x Sides, and compactors.

Diagnose and troubleshoot, sometimes using computerized diagnostic tools.
Disassemble engines to repair or replace defective parts, components, and accessories.
Perform routine maintenance, including lubrication, oil changes, tune-ups, and other preventative maintenance.
Maintain the condition of tools and equipment used.
Create and maintain detailed logs of repairs, time spent, parts used, and test results.
Test repaired equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and safely.
Assist in shop cleanup at the end of each day for tools, parts, and equipment.
Participate / Complete all company-required safety training.
Comply with all safety rules and policies and maintain a clean workspace.
Other duties as assigned.
