Indiana Packers Corporation is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician ( EMT) to respond to emergencies and treat employees that have been injured or are ill due to work-related or personal. This position will also work closely with other departments to promote adherence to medical and safety protocols. The schedule hours for the EMT position are Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays, 6 : 00 pm to 2 : 30 am for the second shift.

This EMT position pays $22.00 dollars per hour plus shift premium $1.00 dollar per hour for second shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and emergency medical care to injured or ill persons
• Ensure personal well-being
• Understand basic medical / legal principles
• Prepare documentation and reports, and maintains records
• Complete probable cause or post-accident assessment of employee
• Ensure OSHA, Workers Compensation and other medically necessary compliance
• Function within the scope of medical care as defined protocol and state, regional, and local regulatory agencies
• Maintain confidential information
• Assist with incident investigations and required documentation
• Perform other duties as needed or required
• Lead emergency medical team when called to the production floor or other facility areas
• Perform other duties as needed or required

This EMT position is in Delphi Indiana (6755 W 100 N Delphi, IN 46923), a short drive from Lafayette Indiana & Purdue University.
