Supervisory Responsibilities :
- Assistant Plant Manager, Office Manager, Quality Supervisor, Maintenance Lead
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Develop and train personnel at all positions. Training to include job operation, efficient work strategies, safety and product quality proceduresLead and manage department leads, assistant plant manager, office manager and other personnelPrepare fiscal year plant goals and objectives providing quarterly updates to the regional operations managerDevelop and operate within an approved budget; areas of concentration to include staffing, supplies, maintenance, utilities and capital projectsDevelop scheduled (preventative) maintenance programs for equipment and facilitiesDevelop and contribute to long term strategic planning for the plantSatisfy all quality and regulatory requirements for all productsImplement the corporate safety programsCoordinate with all departments such as marketing, nutrition, and sales to enable new product development and innovationPositively manage customer relations both internal and externalOther duties as assignedEducation, Experience and / or Qualifications :
Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 5-10 years related work experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in leading and managing operational teamsFinancial experience with P&L statements, budgets preparation and capital planningExperience with regulatory agencies such as : FDA, OSHA, EPAAdditional training such as experience with GMPs, HACCP, SFSFWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordKnowledge of Feed Mill operations preferredTravel Expected :
