- Troubleshooting DC / RF test failures in production (most parts are tested on an Advantest 93K test system)
- Evaluating data trends / yields for tested parts, including statistical analyses, paretos, and limit setting
- Visual inspections of wafers, packaged parts, and test HW for potential issues
- Working with ASIC design teams to ensure a smooth transition to production
- The typical product engineer handles 30-50 products with volumes ranging from 20 / year to 15k / year
- Continuous Process Improvement including Six Sigma and LEAN are a focus of our operations
- Excellent communication, data analysis, and teamwork skills are critical to success in this role
- Experience performing physical failure analysis (SEM, Ultrasonic, cross-sectioning, and XRF tool) is not required, but is highly desirable.
