Physical Therapist (PT) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Location : Amarillo, TX

MedAdventures is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team in Amarillo, Texas . This is a great opportunity for a PT who is passionate about helping residents improve mobility, safety, and overall quality of life through functional, goal-oriented therapy.

In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to evaluate, treat, and support patients with diverse rehabilitation needs in a long-term care setting.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans focused on mobility, strength, balance, and function
  • Deliver skilled physical therapy services in accordance with care plans and physician orders
  • Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and families to promote optimal outcomes
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safe mobility techniques
  • Accurately document services provided, progress, and outcomes

    • Qualifications :

  • Active Texas PT license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
  • Passion for patient-centered care and functional rehabilitation
