Position Details

Salary Range : $35 to $42 per hour, based on relevant years of experience
Location : Fort Collins, Colorado at our Longview Campus
Status : Full-time nights positions available, including eligibility for program / shift differentials
Hours : 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Note : Employees working at locations operating 24 / 7 earn a differential. Shift differentials are also available for evenings, nights ($7 per hour), weekends, and holidays.

Overview

As an Adolescent Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care for adolescents aged 12-17 facing mental health disorders, emotional challenges, or behavioral issues. In our Adolescent Crisis Stabilization Unit, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and support young patients in managing conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related disorders. Your role will involve working closely with young patients, their families, and healthcare teams to promote emotional well-being and support recovery.

Essential Duties

Conduct clinical assessments and identify problems, providing crisis interventions and maintaining clinical documentation.

Administer prescribed medical treatments and personal care services.

Monitor clients for medication side effects and document interactions.

Coordinate medical care and interventions with team members and providers.

Develop and maintain a medication administration system.

Screen lab reports and refer abnormalities to the provider.

Educate clients about medications and document progress notes.

Requirements

Unencumbered Colorado license as a registered nurse

Colorado or Compact licensed nurse in good standing

Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

DORA license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire

Basic Life Support Certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

Highly Desired Qualifications

Experience working specifically with adolescents

1-year experience in a behavioral health setting

Bilingual / bi-cultural candidates are preferred
