Illinois Licensed Pharmacy Technician

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists in managing prescription orders and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter prescription orders into the pharmacy system in compliance with regulations and internal policies

Obtain complete prescription information from healthcare providers and assist pharmacists with missing details

Support patient adherence by updating medication and medical history records and triaging calls as appropriate

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required

3-5 years of experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting preferred

Current Illinois Certified Pharmacy Technician license with maintained CE requirements

Retail pharmacy experience and knowledge of medical terminology

Strong and accurate data entry skills
