job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) and / or FCAW (Fluxcore) tack welding of T-joints in vertical and overhead positions, with the vertical position welded using downhill progression. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety guidelines and protocols. Other duties as assigned. Minimum of 3 months of experience in tack welding. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in SMAW and / or FCAW tack welding by passing a hands-on T-join test in the vertical and overhead positions. Familiarity with basic welding and fitting processes is preferred. Experience with tack welding processes is a plus.
