Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 1 year of critical care experience preferred

License : Valid state nursing license required at time of submission

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, Vents, IV start, Telemetry

Must-Have : EPIC experience, Proficiency in managing postoperative patients

Description :

The position involves working Monday to Friday with a requirement to work 24 hours on-call every 6 weeks.

Days off during the week will vary based on unit needs.

Weekend work is only required as on-call if needed.

Our PACU nurses are responsible for managing complicated postoperative patients with multiple drains, vasoactive drips, and mechanical ventilation.

Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or similar setting is preferred.

Nurses may need to manage multiple complex patients even in pre-op.

There is no requirement for night or weekend shifts, but opportunities may be available.

Expectations include floating within the service line to meet facility needs.

A successful candidate will have proficiency in handling surgical patients including GU, GYN, Colorectal, minimally invasive procedures, Bariatric, and some ENT.

Orientation is provided with a total of 40 hours.
