Job Description
Therapeutic Foster Care Family Consultant
TFC Family Consultant - 38k - 40k with Paid Medical insurance
Reports to : Director of Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC)
Department : Therapeutic Foster Care
Location : Creative Community Services, Inc. (CCS)
Creative Community Services, Inc. (CCS) is a nonprofit agency that has served Georgia’s most vulnerable populations for over 40 years. We specialize in therapeutic foster care and provide services for children, teens, and adults with developmental and emotional needs.
CCS recognizes that most children and adults we serve have experienced trauma. We are committed to a trauma-informed approach that focuses on healing, not just crisis management. Our goal is to help create safe, supportive, and resilient environments that prevent re-traumatization, foster permanency, and promote long-term stability for the children and adults in our programs.
The preferred candidate for this role will have prior training or experience in understanding trauma and be open to working with management as CCS grows in trauma competencies with the support of outside consultants. All job responsibilities will center on understanding and responding to the effects of trauma in order to strengthen both staff and clients on the path toward permanency and healing.
