Position Summary : Provide onsite audits, equipment maintenance, and commissioning of new products for IMI customers across the continent.
Principal Responsibilities :
Responsible for product maintenance and service technician assignments, including but not limited to :
- Provide on-site audits to inspect IMI products and make recommendations to the customer of proper cleaning and maintenance plans, tailored specifically to their product and production hours.
- Repair, maintenance and / or commissioning of IMI products : Mechanical-cylinders, gaskets, tube replacement, pull testing, welding, fabrication, and assembly. Electrical- Solid state drives, PLC's, micro controllers, contactors, control relays, transformers and variety of electrical components and assemblies.
- Programming of drives, PLC's and micro controllers.
- Identify required parts in the field, coordinate ordering, and ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
- Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
- Interaction with site employees : Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Management.
- Complete all necessary paperwork pertaining to service work and forward to management on a weekly basis.
- Regular communication with Regional Managers responsible for Service Tech
- Maintain accurate records of all receipts for each customer service visit and prepare consolidated monthly expense reports for review by leadership.
- Prepare accurate customer quotes and generate invoices reflecting actual service costs.

4+ years working with magnetic components
2-4 years industrial manufacturing experience
Mechanical aptitude
Computer literacy
Possession of a valid driver's license
Crane permit
Forklift / manlift permit
Good working knowledge of electrical and electronic assemblies
Good understanding of electrical schematic and assembly diagrams
Microsoft Office knowledge
2+years working with assembly and testing of industrial electrical controllers
Trade school (electrical, electronics)
