Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Description :

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher in Bristol, CT to join a dynamic school team for the 2025 / 2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs, providing specialized instruction to help them succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities :

Provide individualized and small group instruction to students with special needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure student success.
Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment.
Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district.

Qualifications :

Active Special Education License

Previous experience working in a school-based special education setting is preferred.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Additional Information :

Full-time

Onsite only position.

Pay starting at 37 / hr
