We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including both high voltage and low voltage applications. This role involves working on various construction sites, where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and renovating electrical systems according to project specifications and safety standards.

Requirements :

• Background check by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
• Must successfully complete a Security Badge form that requires a valid government issued ID

Must also be able to present one of the following documents from the list below in addition to a valid government issued ID :

United States Passport or Card

Certificate of United States Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561)

Certificate of Naturalization (Form N-550 or N-570)

U.S. Permanent Resident Card, Alien Registration Receipt Card or Green Card (Form I-551)

Unexpired Foreign Passport with Form I-551 Stamp

Asylum Approval Letter

Unexpired Re-Entry Permit (Form I-327)

Unexpired Refugee Travel Document (Form I-571)

Certificate of Birth Abroad issued by the U.S. Department of State (Form FS-545 or DS-1350)

Consular Report of Birth Abroad (FS-240)

Original or Certified Copy of a Birth Certificate issued by a state, county, municipal authority, or outlying possession of the United States, bearing an official seal.

Enhanced Driver’s License issued by the state of MI, MN, WA, VT, OR NY

Duties :

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in light-industrial construction sites.

Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.

Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.

Renovate existing electrical systems to meet updated codes or client specifications.

Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.

Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes.

Experience :

Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician or similar role in the construction industry.

Proficiency in working with high voltage and low voltage systems.

Familiarity with hand tools and electrical testing equipment.

Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.

Ability to work effectively on construction sites, adapting to varying environments and challenges.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
