The position will report directly to the Manager of Contracts and will serve as the primary contact with an important strategic customer, ensuring the team holds NG's favorable financial and programmatic baseline. As a Contract Administrator - Level 2 or Level 3 (Principal) located in Chandler, AZ you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or 3. In this job, you will :
- Lead and coordinate the company response to customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to understand Statements of Work (SOW) / contract requirements and advise the program team on risk identification and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure company proposals are fully responsive to prospective customer requirements, prepare proposal submittal documents, and coordinate appropriate levels of internal review and approval. Coordinate and develop responses to fact-finding, evaluation notices, and requests for information (RFIs), to bolster priorities, strengthen support for the proposal, and identify customer key items or concerns.
- Develop and execute a negotiation strategy to establish a framework to arrive at the most beneficial agreement possible between Northrop Grumman and the customer.
- Maintain our excellent working relationship with customers to effectively communicate, administer, modify, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contractual agreements.
- Oversee contract performance including schedules and deliverables, and complete actions to ensure satisfactory program performance.
- Advise your program team of contractual rights and obligations on your assigned contracts, including interpretation of contract terms and conditions.
- Enter and manage data in the Contract Management System (CMS).

Basic Qualifications :
Level 2 - Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in any combination of the following : Contract Administration, Proposal Development, Contract Negotiation, Contract Risk Assessment and / or Contract Cost Performance - OR - Master's degreeLevel 3 - Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in any combination of the following : Contract Administration, Proposal Development, Contract Negotiation, Contract Risk Assessment and / or Contract Cost Performance - OR - Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in any combination of the following : Contract Administration, Proposal Development, Contract Negotiation, Contract Risk Assessment and / or Contract Cost PerformanceKnowledge of FAR / DFARSMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearancePreferred Qualifications : Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration :
