Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM), every other weekend required

Call Shifts : 2 per scheduled period

Hours per Week : 36

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Arkansas RN license or multistate compact nursing license

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications

Postpartum nursing experience preferred

Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and leadership abilities

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases

Apply the nursing process in compliance with the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

Ensure safe, quality patient care through sound clinical judgment and leadership

Maintain clinical competencies with ongoing education and training

Delegate patient care tasks based on staff qualifications and experience

Supervise and provide direction to assigned healthcare personnel

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
