Looking to fill up to 1 Full-Time (35+ hours per week) and 2-3 Part-Time positions (15-30 hours per week across three centers in Murfreesboro, Tennessee depending on candidate availability & scheduling requirements) that would have a strong growth path including leadership opportunities for driven individuals. Ideal candidates have flexible availability most weekdays from 7 : 45 AM - 7 : 30 PM and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 8 : 15 AM - 4 : 30 PM. (For students, we work with school schedules as much as possible!)
Overview
The Center Associate (Customer Service Associated) delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of previous customer service / retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He or she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.
Responsibilities
Understands and fulfills the needs of walk-in customers and telephone / email inquiriesCommunicates effectively and continuously practices good listening with customers, co-workers, vendors, and leadershipEmpathizes and manages demanding, impatient, and / or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experienceTakes ownership of customers packing, shipping, and / or print problems and offers viable solutionsOperates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach othersFrequently multi-tasks while maintaining extreme attention to detail and high quality controlMaintains a clean, organized, and safe working environmentWill open and / or close the store and perform end-of-day accounting, etc.Takes action to learn NEW products, services, alternative solutions, and industry trends as well as occasionally reviewing / retraining on lesser used servicesCompletes tasks independently in a quick turn environmentFrequently multi-tasks while maintaining extreme attention to detail and high quality controlHelps with other Center functions as needed, such as faxing, copying, laminating, and bindingHelps customers with expert boxing and packaging, selling the appropriate products to ship materials safely and efficientlyPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications
