RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of patient population served

Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards

Must have 2 years of Med / Surg experience required

New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required

BLS certification from AHA required

ACLS certification optional

Must demonstrate current knowledge and skills appropriate to age / type of patient population served

Communicate in a clear, concise manner appropriate to developmental age of patient

Handle emergency / crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking

Perform heavy physical effort to position, push and / or transfer patients or equipment

Work in bloodborne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays

Flexible schedule due to unexpected changes and emergencies

Must have manual dexterity, fine motor coordination, and hearing / visual acuity within normal limits
