Night Shift | Full-Time (3x12s including one weekend day shift) | Austin, TX

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $25 - $28 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Pet Specialists of Austin (PSA), a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is seeking a skilled and motivated Emergency Shift Lead Vet Tech to join our day shift team. This is a great opportunity to grow your leadership in a collaborative, specialty / emergency hospital environment.

About the Role :

As the Shift Lead , you'll provide high-quality nursing care while guiding and supporting your technician team. You’ll help drive shift efficiency, delegate responsibilities, mentor team members, and maintain a smooth workflow throughout emergency cases and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Deliver Exceptional Emergency Care

• Triage, stabilize, and monitor critical patients
• Assist in surgeries and procedures
• Administer medications, fluids, and blood transfusions
• Manage diagnostics including radiology, lab work, and patient records
