job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide writing instruction and feedback to doctoral students in various programs Create and deliver live and prerecorded webinars and instructional resources Develop and lead new services for doctoral students in the Online Writing Center Foster professional relationships with students and communicate their progress Analyze data to report on service effectiveness and promote student retention Master’s degree required; doctoral degree preferred, from an accredited institution Graduate-level teaching or tutoring experience required Expertise in APA style (7th edition) and familiarity with social science research Strong communication skills, both written and oral Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams Experience with online learning technologies for feedback to nontraditional and multilingual learners Expertise in research publication Capacity for ongoing learning in theories of writing and online higher education Highly self-motivated with outstanding organizational skills
