Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Germantown, TN 38138 (Memphis area)

Unit : Med / Surg Telemetry (3 WEST)

Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025, End : 2 / 16 / 2026)

Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts / week (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Weekly Hours : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1780-$1910

Patient Ratio : 1 : 6

Registered Nurse Qualifications

2+ years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience required

At least 1 completed previous travel nursing assignment

Active Tennessee RN license or compact state license (NLC)

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Current BLS certification

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Cerner EMR charting experience preferred

Residence at least 100 miles from facility

First-time travel nurses accepted with 3+ years recent experience

Submit all requested time off (RTO) with application

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a busy Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to patient changes

Administer medications, treatments, and patient education

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team for optimal outcomes

Accurately document care using Cerner EMR (preferred)

Float between similar units and campuses within 20 miles as needed

Participate in weekend and holiday coverage

Maintain compliance with facility policies and travel nurse guidelines
