People Operations Generalist

Location : Denver, CO (Onsite four days per week, with occasional travel to stores and facilities)

Reports to : Head of Human Resources

We're looking for a People Operations Generalist who loves variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings both people-savvy and process-thinking to everything they do. This role supports our manufacturing, distribution, and retail teams, managing daily People operations while driving projects that strengthen compliance, efficiency, and employee experience.

What You'll Do

Employee Support & Operations

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and People-related requests across factory, warehouse, and retail teams.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including onboarding, benefits, and policy documentation.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and benefits overview sessions (in English and Spanish).
  • Support employees and managers with questions about policies, procedures, and systems (including Rippling).

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Post job openings and manage candidate pipelines across multiple locations.
  • Conduct first-level screening, schedule interviews, and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Check references and assist with extending offers.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences, ensuring compliance with all federal and state requirements.
  • Continuously improve new hire materials and processes for a consistent, positive first impression.
  • Projects, Systems & Benefits

  • Support HR systems implementation and optimization in Rippling, including automation, workflows, and reporting.
  • Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee communications.
  • Participate in People Ops projects focused on process improvement, efficiency, and engagement.
  • Create and update People policies, forms, and resources to ensure clarity and accessibility.
  • Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state (especially Colorado), and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain consistency across documentation, pay practices, and employee relations matters.
  • Support audits and reporting requirements related to compliance, benefits, and safety.
  • What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and employee support.
  • Working knowledge of Colorado employment laws (wage and hour, leave, and posting requirements).
  • Strong organizational and project management skillsable to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency with HR systems (Rippling experience strongly preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive, approachable, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strongly Preferred

  • Experience working in a manufacturing facility or production environment.
  • Prior experience implementing or maintaining HR systems such as Rippling.
  • Bonus Points

  • Experience supporting multi-site operations (manufacturing, warehouse, and retail).
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) or coursework in Human Resources.

    The pay range for this role is :

    55,000 - 75,000 USD per year(Corporate)
