General Summary :
Under general direction of the Manager of Internal Applications, this assignment will contribute to the strategic objectives of the Internal Applications team by supporting business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution delivery across multiple enterprise platforms. The Sr. Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity of requirements, alignment to organizational priorities, and delivery of high-quality solutions.
Essential Functions :
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for enhancements, integrations, and new solutions across internal applications.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and cross-functional meetings to clarify needs and align priorities.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies in coordination with product owners and technical teams.
- Conduct system and process analysis to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop test cases, coordinate user acceptance testing, and validate solution delivery.
- Create user guides, training materials, and documentation to support adoption and knowledge transfer.
- Partner with subject matter experts, developers, and system administrators to ensure quality, timely delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Deliverables :
Business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories in alignment with project scope.Current and future-state process maps, workflows, and gap analysis.Meeting notes, stakeholder feedback logs, and decision records.Test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT) results documentation.User guides, training materials, and knowledge transfer documentation.Reports and dashboards to support business process visibility and decision-making.Summary presentations and status updates for leadership and stakeholders.Comprehensive knowledge transfer package for the returning FTE employee, including documentation of project status, decision history, outstanding requirements, and system / process updates to ensure a seamless transition of responsibilities.Special / Additional Qualifications (Over Role / Category Level)

Required Licenses or Certifications :
Preferred but not required : Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA), Agile / Scrum (CSPO, SAFe PO / PM), or ITIL certifications.
Specific Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills :
Strong knowledge of business analysis practices including requirements elicitation, functional design, and process mapping.Skilled in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and UAT documentation.Familiarity with system integration concepts, data workflows, and enterprise reporting tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.Strong facilitation skills with proven ability to lead workshops and engage stakeholders at all levels.Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate options, and recommend solutions.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio (or similar process mapping tools), and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, etc.).Ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and deliver under tight timelines in a temporary assignment.Physical Demands / Work Environment :
